Privacy Policy

This is the English version of our Hebrew privacy policy. If the two differ, the Hebrew version applies.
We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect on www.stonewood.co.il ("the site"), when you contact us and when you order; why we use it; who we share it with; and what your rights are.
1. Who is responsible for your information
Stonewood is a brand of Kadouri Advanced Industries Ltd. ("the Company", "we", "us"). The Company is the controller of the database that holds your information.

2. What we collect
2.1 Information you give us

- You are not required by law to give us information. Giving it is up to you and depends on your consent.
- Without the required details, we cannot answer your enquiry, open an account or fulfil an order.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- When you browse the site, our server receives your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit.
- From your IP address, the system works out the country you are browsing from.
- The site remembers your language and time zone, to display the site correctly.
- If you arrive through a campaign link (one with utm parameters), we record which campaign and which site you came from. This happens only if you accept cookies.
- Usage statistics through Google Analytics are collected only if you accept cookies. See section 6.
3. Why we use it
- To handle your order: make the product to your choices, take payment, issue an invoice, arrange delivery and installation, and deliver.
- To answer your enquiries and give service, including warranty claims and cancellations.
- To run your account on the site.
- To work with business customers: answer their enquiries, arrange meetings, send quotes, and run a business customer account in which the customer sees their own prices and orders.
- To run and secure the site: keep your cart, your language and your sign-in, and prevent misuse.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it. This happens only if you accept non-essential cookies.
- To meet our legal obligations, for example under tax and consumer protection law.
We will not use your information for any other purpose without asking for your consent, unless the law allows or requires it.
Advertising messages (section 30A of the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) Law, 5742-1982):
- We send you advertising by email, text message (SMS) or WhatsApp only if you expressly agreed: by ticking the consent box in a form, or in a call with us. We record the consent: the date, the channel and what was agreed.
- We may send a business one message asking whether it wants to receive offers from us.
- Those who agreed get an update from us about once every three months: new products, finishes and projects.
- Every message lets you tell us you do not want further messages, for example by replying "remove" ("הסר"). You can also ask by email to info@stonewood.co.il or by phone on +972-3-6216655. We will stop sending and record your request.
- Phone calls: our staff may call businesses on their business phone numbers. If you ask us not to call again, we will record it and respect your request.
4. Our basis for using your information
We use information in line with the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017:
- Consent. You give us information of your own free will, for the purposes set out here. You consent to non-essential cookies by clicking "I agree".
- Performing the transaction. We need your order details to make the product, take payment, issue an invoice and deliver.
- Legal obligation. We must keep some information, such as invoices.
- Consent to advertising. We send advertising only to those who agreed (section 3), and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information.
We share information only with those who need it to provide a service to us, and only what they need:

- Card details are entered with Nayax, which processes them. You enter them on Nayax's payment page; we do not receive or store your card number.
- Authorities. We disclose information to a competent authority when the law requires it, or under a court order.
- Outside Israel. Some of our service providers store information outside Israel. We transfer information abroad only in line with the Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 5761-2001.
6. Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that the site stores in your browser.
On your first visit, a banner offers two choices:
- "Only essentials": the site stores only the cookies it needs to work.
- "I agree": the site also stores non-essential cookies: Google Analytics cookies and cookies that record where you came from.
Google Analytics does not load until you click "I agree".
Please note: "I agree" includes advertising. Clicking "I agree" allows Google two things together:
- usage statistics for the site;
- use of cookies and your browsing data for advertising: ad measurement and personalised ads.
You cannot choose statistics only. If you do not want this, choose "Only essentials". How Google uses information: policies.google.com/privacy.
- The full list. Every cookie, what each one is for and how long it is kept are in our Cookie Policy: www.stonewood.co.il/en/cookie-policy.
- Changing your choice. Delete the site's cookies in your browser settings. On your next visit the banner appears again, and you can choose again.
- Blocking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the site, such as the cart and your account, will not work.
7. How long we keep information

At the end of the period we delete the information, or keep it in a form that does not identify you.
8. Your rights
- Access. You may inspect the information about you held in our database (section 13 of the Privacy Protection Law).
- Correction and deletion. If the information is incorrect, incomplete, unclear or out of date, you may ask us to correct or delete it (section 14).
- Cookies. You may change your choice at any time (section 6 and our Cookie Policy).
- Advertising. You may withdraw your consent to advertising messages at any time, by replying to a message or by contacting us (section 3).
- Direct mail. If we use your details for direct mail, you may ask us to remove you from the mailing list (section 17F of the Law).
How to ask: email info@stonewood.co.il or call +972-3-6216655. To protect you, we may ask you to confirm your identity before we give out or change any information. We will reply within 30 days.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may complain to the Privacy Protection Authority at the Ministry of Justice.
9. Security
- The site runs only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Browsers are told to connect to it only over a secure connection (HSTS).
- The cookie that keeps you signed in is sent only over an encrypted connection, and scripts on the page cannot read it.
- You can sign in to your account with a passkey, without a password.
- Within the Company, access to your information is limited to our staff.
- The site and the information are hosted on Odoo S.A.'s servers, on Odoo.sh. Odoo S.A. protects its servers with its own security measures.
- No system is completely secure. If a severe security incident occurs, we will act as the law requires.
10. Minors
- The site and orders on it are for people aged 18 and over (section 2 of the Terms).
- If we learn that a minor gave us information without a parent's consent, we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
- We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the last update is at the top of the page.
- We will announce material changes on the site.
