Porcelain Sink
Porcelain bathroom sinks made to measure – integral, pressed and pedestal
Porcelain slab – the market also calls it porcelain granite – is a dense ceramic sheet 9 to 14.5 mm thick, depending on the finish. It does not absorb water, so it resists stains, heat and the scratches of daily use, and its finishes look like marble, concrete, dark stone and wood. At our factory in Israel we make three kinds of porcelain bathroom sink from it, all made to measure.
Three kinds of porcelain sink
Integral sink: bowl and top from the same porcelain slab, in the same colour, with a minimal joint – no silicone seam in the corner. Single, 60–250 cm wide, or double, 45, 47 or 50 cm deep, with a 6 or 15 cm frame. Five models – ALMA, BLANCO, NOBLE, ROMA and SOL – that differ in the shape of the basin. Pressed sink: the whole top, basin included, is pressed from one porcelain slab – one unit with no joint. Five models – ORGANICA, COMO, VETRO, NATO and NANO – 60–150 cm wide depending on the model, with a 15 cm-deep basin. We are the only manufacturer in Israel that presses porcelain sinks from one slab. Pedestal sink: a porcelain column 85 cm high that stands on the floor without a cabinet, 50–120 cm wide and 35–60 cm deep. Three models: RETOR, CLASSIC and MODERN.
Finishes – the basin carries the finish of the top
On integral and pressed sinks the basin takes the finish of the top, because it is the same slab. There are 37 slab finishes on single integral sinks (23 on doubles), 17 bendable finishes on pressed sinks and more than 30 on pedestal sinks: matt white, greys, veined marble, dark stone and wood grain. You can also supply your own slab, subject to checking the material. Architects and designers can request finish samples – see architects and designers.
Caring for a porcelain sink
Porcelain does not absorb, so care is simple: warm water, mild soap and a soft cloth, then dry. No abrasive powders and no metal scouring pads. An integral sink has no silicone seam, so there is nothing to replace or whiten. The full guide: how to care for an integral porcelain sink.

Frequently asked questions
What is porcelain slab, and how is it different from a ceramic basin?
Porcelain slab is a dense ceramic sheet 9–14.5 mm thick that does not absorb water, in finishes that look like marble, concrete, stone and wood. From this slab we cut or press the basin and the top together, so the basin carries the finish of the top – unlike a separate ceramic basin that sits on a counter or is glued beneath it.
How much does a porcelain sink cost?
It depends on the kind of sink (integral, pressed or pedestal), the width, the frame height and the finish. On every model's page the price is calculated at once for each combination, VAT included, with no details to leave. Tap, trap, cabinet and installation are not included.
What is the difference between an integral, a pressed and a pedestal sink?
In an integral sink the bowl and the top come from the same porcelain slab, in the same colour, with a minimal joint, single 60–250 cm or double. A pressed sink is pressed from one slab, one unit with no joint, 60–150 cm wide depending on the model. A pedestal sink is a porcelain column 85 cm high that stands on the floor without a cabinet, 50–120 cm wide.
What sizes can I order a porcelain sink in?
Integral: single 60–250 cm or double, 45, 47 or 50 cm deep, 6 or 15 cm frame. Pressed: 60–150 cm depending on the model, at the same depths. Pedestal: 50–120 cm wide, 35–60 cm deep, 85 cm high. Production tolerance up to ±2 mm.
How do I clean a porcelain sink?
Warm water, mild soap and a soft cloth, then dry. Do not use abrasive powders or metal scouring pads. For a stubborn stain, a neutral cleaner and a cloth.
Does a porcelain sink scratch or stain?
The slab is dense and does not absorb, so it resists everyday scratches, heat and stains. Chips or cracks caused after installation are not covered by the warranty, so take care in transport and installation.
Who installs the sink, and what does it sit on?
Integral and pressed sinks arrive ready to set on a bathroom vanity or a wall-mounted frame; a pedestal sink stands on the floor, with a plumbing access opening at the back. Our team installs at an additional charge, or your own installer does.
